Singapore…yet another perfect city
Never ever would I have imagined that one day an Asian city would be in the top cities I would like to live in. Surrounded by the sea, sunny, clean, great infrastructure, amazing architecture, multicultural, fully English speaking, growing economy, all kinds of cuisines…if only it weren’t so far from home…
Imagine wandering on the streets being amazed, surprised at every corner: “Wow, look at that block!” “Have you seen that bridge?” “See those trees!” “How cool that garden is!” “Colors everywhere!” Everything seems almost new, from the impressive skyscrapers to the old colonial buildings, to Buddhist temples or famous Asian street markets, all intermingled in harmony. The Marina Bay, together with its gardens and the concert hall are just breathtaking. And then they have Sentosa island, the center of fun and entertainment with Universal Studios fun park, casino, weird museums and all sorts of modern, hi-tech art pieces.
Everyone seems to have a pretty decent life, there are no beggars nor homeless people on the streets, you do not waste hours and hours in traffic jams and the air is not polluted. And…it is world’s 3rd most important financial center, global commerce and transport hub with our favorite airport in the whole world – Changi…
What else would you ask from a home city?
